If you’re reading this, chances are you love surfing, snorkeling or diving - quite possibly in a neoprene wetsuit. After all, it’s the most common material for a suit to be made from. However, neoprene’s impact on the environment is appalling: it is not biodegradable, but most wetsuits are disposed of in landfill or incinerated. And when neoprene is burned, it becomes a pollutant highly toxic to people and animals.

Over 20,000 tonnes of neoprene globally go to waste and pollute the planet and the oceans we love.

But we’re changing this, one wetsuit at a time!

Stream2Sea have partnered with RAW and Circular Flow to create a range of accessories made from recycled neoprene via a 100% closed loop, zero waste process, without melting, burning or use of hazardous chemicals. The end of life neoprene is transformed into beach bags, and change mats to name just a few different products in the range. Plus, each item can be recycled again and again.

RAW offers truly sustainable, top-quality products for anyone who is passionate about having an active lifestyle and knows that making the most of what our planet offers must co-exist with a commitment to its protection and regeneration.

We know these products match Stream2Sea’s commitment to live and breathe the spirit of adventure, while embracing sustainability every step of the process.

Stream2Sea will be working with Circular Flow to announce a neoprene take back program for 2025. In the meantime, if you would like to register your interest, just email contact@circularflow.net and we will be in touch..
