How to Apply

Apply liberally (2mg/cm2 of skin) to exposed skin, in sections, then rub in to reduce the whitening effect. For children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor. For face & body, does not burn eyes.

Smart Sun Safety Tips

Reapply Mineral Sunscreen: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating (preferably on dry skin), or immediately after towel drying, and at least every 2 hours.

Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease these risks, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and practice other sun protection measures including:

  • Limit time in the sun, especially from 10am - 2pm.
  • Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

AWFUL Smell

This sunscreen smells so rancid I cannot use it without making me feel like I am going to vomit. I can't get the smell of it off of my clothes now my entire drawer of clothes smells like it making me want to gag. At first I thought I received a rotten bottle from Amazon, but when I ordered another from the Stream2Sea website it smelt just as terrible. (The glitter one smells even worse) All have been thrown in the trash :-( I sincerely hope the company can re-formulate so the rotten smell will be gone. The look and feel of this sunscreen is amazing though and was hoping it would be my "go-to" SPF. Super bummed.

They are mineral-based and fragrance-free, which means they don’t contain added scents to cover up the natural aroma of the ingredients. What you’re noticing is the characteristic scent of non-nano zinc oxide—some people pick up on it more strongly than others, while many don’t notice it at all.

We did pull retained samples from the lot numbers you received, and can confirm they are not rancid or off in any way. Still, we know scent is very personal, and we're genuinely sorry this was a dealbreaker for you. Your note about the texture and performance means a lot to us, and we’re always exploring ways to improve without compromising safety—for your body or for our blue planet.
